ZEO PDQ is conducting a full ISO 14067 / LCA Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) + LCA/EPD study on a Full Pallet Display built for Walmart Canada. With support from Nanozeo and resources from SSBTi, every ZEO packaging production line is benchmarked directly against EPD and DPP requirements. Our data carries multi-dimensional LCIA environmental-footprint indicators, with a complete LCI data structure spanning modules A1–A5 plus the optional B, C, and D stages — ready to map straight into a customer’s EPD. Whenever ISO / EPD / DPP / PEF / ESPR certification is required, the underlying data is already organized and in place. Not a marketing claim — an auditable, quantified report retailers can actually use.

How the Study Works

Functional unit: one display unit (14.54 kg assembled).

System boundary: cradle-to-customer — raw materials (duplex board, corrugated board, inks, lamination film, adhesives), printing / laminating / die-cutting processes, factory energy, through outbound delivery (A4). Module A5 is manual assembly: no tools required, exceptionally low-impact — ZEO PDQ’s biggest advantage, built on our patented ZEO® moisture-resistant, lightweight board-reinforcement technology.

Local supply chain: all major material suppliers sit within roughly 50 km of the plant, keeping inbound logistics emissions structurally low.

Waste principle: production paper trim is 100% sold for recycling (cut-off approach), and the display itself is mono-material paper — fully recyclable at end of life.

Preliminary Results

PCF per display: approximately 17 kgCO₂e (preliminary estimate; study in progress — figure to be updated upon verification). See the appendix below for the magnitude estimation and hotspot reference.

二、排放熱點(四分區)
